Classic Eyelash Extentions
Classic full set eyelash extensions add length and volume whilst looking beautiful and natural. Using the traditional 1:1 lash application method. Extensions can be used to create a variety of effects including cat eye, dolls eye (super curled), or a very natural enhancement. With this set, I apply around 70-80 lashes per eye.
They are the perfect starting point for first-time eyelash extensions, and are the most popular for everyday wear. At your initial consultation, we will provide advice on the thickness, length and curl of eyelash extension that may suit you.
Hybrid Eyelash Extension
Hybrid eyelash extensions are the half way step between a classic set of eyelash extensions and a volume (Russian volume) set.
A 50/50 mixture of 1:1 lashes and the handmade fanned, volume style lashes (NOT cluster lashes popped on – this is cheating and terrible for the natural lashes!) they are stunning, texturized and give a life-like, non-uniform lash look.
Also referred to as a ‘mixed set’, they are versatile in offering a thicker, denser look than classic lashes, but without the uniformity and softness of a typical Russian volume set.
They can also be a great way to achieve that staggered look made popular by Kim Kardashian, by using longer classic extensions interspersed with shorter volume lashes. They’re perfect for anyone wanting to add a bit of extra drama to their classic set, or for anyone wanting to test out volume lashes without fully committing. They are great for anyone with naturally fine or slightly gappy lashes, whereby volume fans can be placed in sparser areas to make the lash line look fuller.
If you’ve been thinking of upgrading your classic set, I can pretty much guarantee you will love hybrid lashes!
Volume Eyelash Extensions
Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions – (also known as XD Volume Lashes)
Absolutely stunning lashes – a new technique that involves applying eyelash extensions using a different application method, where 2 – 4 extremely light-weight extensions are applied to each natural lash, creating intense volume with a soft, fluffy look. I apply upwards of 200 lashes per eye, with 2D, 3D and 4D Volume Eyelash extensions available.
For those who ask – will volume eyelash extensions damage my lashes? The answer is no – despite their volume and density, these Russian Volume eyelash extensions are so light and so delicate, they barely place any weight on the natural lash. Known in the UK and Europe as ‘XD Volume Lashes’ – they are incredibly popular as bridal lashes, and for those who want to space their fill appointments out as much as possible.
